I’m a licensed therapist who is passionate about creating inclusive spaces.
My Approach
My approach is LGBTQIA+-affirming, kink/BDSM-affirming, and polyamorous/consensual non-monogamy-affirming, and grounded in anti-racist practice. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

About Me
Hello! I’m Reina (she/her) and I’m excited to meet you! I identify as a nerdy, queer, polyamorous, kinky, immigrant woman. I was born in the Philippines, lived briefly in the Netherlands in my youth, and moved to the United States when I was seven.
I attended Seton Hall University where I received a B.S. in International Relations and Diplomacy, and returned to school as nontraditional student to earn my Master’s in Social Work at Salisbury University. I also completed training in: EMDR Basic Training, LGBTQ-affirmative CBT, and advanced trauma treatment.
I spend my spare time practicing yoga, taking care of my houseplants, and restoring vintage typewriters.

First things first, don't be nervous. We'll start with a free consultation to discuss your needs and determine whether it’s a good fit. If not, that’s ok! If so, we’ll schedule an initial intake session and I’ll send you an invitation link to complete the intake paperwork.

I accept Maryland Medicaid and commercial insurance as well. I also take self-pay clients and bill $150 per session (more for longer sessions or more complex needs such as couples counseling). I can provide superbills! I also have some slots for sliding scale.

Selecting a therapist is a very personal decision. I offer a free consultation to make sure we are on the same page about your needs and what I offer. If you are looking for a therapist who is inclusive, trauma-informed, and committed to creating safe spaces, then I’m your gal.

I currently offer virtual therapy only at this time. I am fully licensed in Maryland and Virginia.
